Just Being a Baby!

 Joey had a fun and full day today. We didn’t have day nursing for two days in a row, but Daniel and I managed. We may have forgotten to feed Joey on time a few times, but hey, he got fed! Joey took some long naps this afternoon, sat in his chair, ate some pear baby food with his speech therapist, and then I convinced Daniel to put Joey in his stroller so we could walk to the pool and watch his sister play volleyball.  Even though it was hot, Joey actually did really well on the walk. The fan helped him stay cool. It was sweet because this was the first time he got to see his sister play. At dinner time, we took his vent and oxygen and rolled him into the kitchen with the rest of the family. It was a lot of fun to include him in our daily routine and offer him a change of scenery from his room. It felt good for him to experience regular baby activities and live life with us.
