Still Going!

Joey stayed on a vapotherm of 3 yesterday and managed to wean himself back down to 41% at his latest.  He was in a happy mood yesterday-nothing crazy happened. No machine malfunctions. He had a pretty good day.  This morning and early afternoon, he continues to have a good day.  He was weaned a half wean to 2.5. I would suggest that maybe he stays at 2.5 tomorrow, but we will see how he does tomorrow. Hopefully, we will get a visit from pulmonology to see if they have further suggestions. Last week, he suggested that we go back on reflux meds-he is still refluxing.  He also started back on his lasix to see if this would help with his wean. I think he may have started that this past Friday?

Today while I was holding him, he enjoyed the "This Little Piggy" poem.  Yesterday, he was so alert that it was so hard to leave him. He was ready to party and he was saying-come on guys, don't leave, let's play!
